ST JOHNS, N.L. - Kael Mouillierat and Jason Jaffray both scored in the shootout as the St. Johns IceCaps edged the visiting Providence Bruins 4-3 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action. Mouillierat scored with a forehand-to-backhand deke, and Jaffray showed patience with a toe-drag before scoring top shelf. Postma gave the IceCaps a 3-2 lead with a wrist shot from just inside the blueline that Bruins goalie Malcolm Subban misplayed with his glove with 1:08 remaining in the second.
