COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Vicente Sanchez and Deshorn Brown scored from penalties two minutes apart in the second half to lead the Colorado Rapids to a 2-0 win over the Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer on Saturday. Sanchez converted in the 73rd minute and Brown got his in the 75th for Colorado. Portland has never beaten the Rapids in Colorado. Portland goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts was sent off when he made contact with Brown while trying to contest him for the ball. At Frisco, Texas, Fabian Castillo, Je-Vaughn Watson and Michel scored in a 15-minute span in the second half to ensure Western Conference-leader FC Dallas remained unbeaten with a 3-1 win over Chivas USA.
